Monday Funnies

Heaven High and How was your Monday?

Mondays can be a drag, as illustrated in this video:

But they don’t have to be something that you dread after every weekend. After all, a lot of people don’t have the option of going to work on Monday. Consider yourself lucky! Yes, this may be an optimistic way of looking at it but don’t forget that being optimistic is one of the traits of the successful!

Even if today started off badly (a lot of Mondays can be a shock to our systems), tomorrow is a fresh day.

For example, today I was overwhelmed with tasks for work and home. I muddled through it, making sure to take it one task at a time. To keep from being overwhelmed tomorrow, I am taking steps now:

  1. Be organized. Create a task list for the next day.
  2. Be flexible. Leave gaps in between meetings and other appointments to leave some wiggle room.
  3. Be happy. Keep reminders of why I do the things that I do when I’m at work. These are especially helpful when I’m having a tough day and I just want to give up.

That’s as simple as it gets. Be organized, flexible, happy and be BOP!
